Best kept secret in Tunasan, now an open secret in Tunasan! Check this out peeps!
They have grub that's beyond good, man!
The food tastes good and affordable.
As an avid customer of the garage burger in the nearby Park Homes Tunasan, we got curious as to what Km31 Diner could offer.
The place was neat and air-conditioned. 🤩 The diner was decorated to have a decades kind of vibe.
Onto the menu... we were surprised with the wide variety they offer, mostly American. Pizza, pasta, chicken, burger, salad, milkshakes. We decided to try the basics and this is our take:
(Ringo) Starr meat lovers pizza - for 250 pesos we got an 8-inch thin crust pizza loaded with ham, beef salami, bacon chunks, onion, black olives, melted mozzarella. The toppings were good though the crust could have been made more crispy. Giving them 3.5/5 💛
Then we ordered the Carpenters holiday promo which included:
Jackson & Elvis burger
-First impression was that the bun was kind of soft. Not the brioche bun as claimed in the menu. Like that of army navy sprinkled with a lot of sesame. Was hoping that the outer portion was more crunchy. Nonetheless we gotta say that the meat was so good! This is one burger that can stand on its own. We didn’t have to put ketchup or mustard on it because it was delicious on its own. Plus points for that. Although it’s a bit pricey for 180/200 pesos each, we’d give this 4.5/5 💛
Rosemary fries
-Sadly this one that came with our burger was a tad too oily. :( 2/5 💛
Baltimore fries
-This is that fries that made our visit worthwhile, a thick cut fries which came with sriracha and thousand island sauces. 5/5 💛
Lemonade
-The choice of blue and pink lemonade was a cutesy add-on. 💛
Overall, we were pleased with our visit. We are planning to try their other meals and we are hoping to see some improvements the next time around. We would definitely come back for the burger. We could say that this diner comes with a great potential.
